Layered, Functional Design for a world travelling couple.
While we have been diligently working on several private apartments at the stunning St. Regis Rye, developed by Alfred Weissman Real Estate, we wanted to share the finished photography for the Residences Model Unit. Our friends at The Marketing Directors, who were responsible for all sales in the residences, gave us a clear client profile before we started. It allowed us to create the design for a very specific imaginary client. A couple in their early 60’s, well travelled, and who will be splitting their time between their home in south Florida and here at the St. Regis.
Since our new “imaginary” client was a former interior designer, our first goal was to create a design that felt chic, layered, relaxed and comfortable. Also knowing that adaptability would be key here, we allowed the second bedroom to function as an office and a bedroom with the help of a beautiful murphy bed with sliding shelves. It was an exciting project, and we think we hit the mark! Enjoy!
