Elissa Grayer, Allied ASID
Principal Designer
A graduate of Amherst College, Harvard University, and Teachers College Columbia University, Elissa spent a decade in education and business before turning her lifelong passion for interiors into her profession. While taking courses at the New York School of Interior Design and Parsons School of Design, she established Elissa Grayer Interior Design — now a nationally recognized firm celebrated for its timeless, layered approach to living spaces.
Elissa is known for her refined eye, intuitive sense of proportion, and ability to create interiors that feel both elegant and inviting. Her work has been featured in national and regional publications, and she is a sought-after voice in the design community. A past president of the ASID NY Metro Chapter, she continues to mentor emerging designers and champion design excellence.
Deeply inspired by travel, Elissa often draws from her time in Europe — especially Italy, France, and Spain — for color, texture, and form. She describes herself as “Euro-centric at heart” and hopes to explore Scandinavia and Africa in the coming years. When she’s not designing, she enjoys art, architecture, and time with her two adult daughters.
Kristin Damle, Allied ASID
Design Director
As Design Director at EGID, Kristin ensures that every project runs smoothly from concept to completion. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Interior Design, she honed her expertise working with several prominent New York design firms before joining EGID in 2016.
Kristin blends creativity with precision — overseeing project timelines, managing operations, and ensuring every detail aligns with the firm’s standards of excellence. Her design sensibility balances sophistication with comfort, rooted in a deep understanding of proportion, texture, and function.
Outside of the studio, Kristin enjoys life in Westchester with her husband, their two daughters, and their beloved Frenchie. Her weekends often include time with family, travel, and exploring the latest in design and architecture.
Amanda Torres
Junior Interior Designer
A New York native, Amanda earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design. While completing her studies, she worked at Walker Zanger, gaining extensive knowledge of tile and stone and developing an eye for detail that informs her work today.
Amanda is drawn to interiors that incorporate natural elements, texture, and warmth. She loves working with plants and greenery, infusing her designs with life and a sense of connection to nature. Known for her calm approach and collaborative spirit, she brings both creativity and care to every project.
Recently married, Amanda enjoys cruise travel and exploring new destinations with her husband — always finding fresh inspiration along the way.
Lauren Sergi
Junior Interior Designer
Originally from Massachusetts, Lauren earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from High Point University. Her passion for design began at a young age and deepened while working at High Point Market, where she gained hands-on experience with leading manufacturers and design trends.
Lauren’s work is defined by her refined sense of proportion, balance, and light. She thrives on the creative process — translating inspiration into spaces that feel welcoming, functional, and lasting.
When she’s not immersed in design, Lauren enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and exploring the local design scene.
Lisa Dolgos
Office Manager
Lisa brings a thoughtful, organized approach to every aspect of her work at Elissa Grayer Interior Design. After graduating college, she spent several years in facilities management for leading law firms in New York City before stepping away to raise her four children and dedicate time to community and volunteer work.
Her keen eye for detail and natural sense of design make her an integral part of the EGID team. Lisa ensures that the firm’s daily operations — and each client’s experience — run smoothly, blending professionalism with warmth and care.
She and her husband live in Westchester, where they’ve raised their four now-adult children. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and spending time on the golf course.
