Below are some of the organizations we proudly support and partner with in service to our broader community:
Highlights From Our Recent Community Events
HOUSING WORKS DESIGN ON A DIME BENEFIT
Since 2017, we’ve been honored to participate in the Housing Works’ Design on a Dime benefit — with Elissa serving as co-chair in 2023 and 2024.
This extraordinary event raises essential funds for Housing Works, whose mission supports individuals affected by homelessness and HIV/AIDS through housing, healthcare, and unwavering advocacy.
2022 RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE – GREATER HUDSON VALLEY
Supporting the Ronald McDonald House was a deeply meaningful experience for our team. We redesigned the lobby with custom cabinetry and thoughtful decorative touches, and updated the family pantry, hallway, and bathroom to bring warmth, organization, and comfort to families navigating challenging times.
2011 DESIGNERS’ SHOWHOUSE AT SEVEN OAKS — GREENWICH
For this showhouse, we set out to design a guest suite that felt serene, comfortable, and fully self-contained — a place to unwind, read, have a cup of tea, or settle in after a long day. We paired custom bedding from Yves Delorme with Matouk linens, hand-painted pillows from Dempsey & Ross, and a custom headboard upholstered in Castel fabric. A mix of custom upholstery, beautiful millwork, and refined decorative details helped bring this inviting retreat to life.
We extend our sincere thanks to the talented partners and generous vendors who donated their time and materials to support the efforts of the Humane Society, including: Cathy Poses, Eve’s Decorating, Kenise Barnes Fine Art Gallery, Mike Dinola Plumbing, Best Plumbing Tile & Stone, Louis Katz from LJK Wallcovering, APerfect Goldman Electric, and The Painted Otter Tile Refinishers.
2011 PINK CHAIR EVENT
The chair Elissa Grayer Design donated was one of a pair of antique Spanish Hall chairs from the early 1900s, sourced from Chatsworth Antiques in Mamaroneck, NY. The raspberry fabric—a geometric print from Romo—was generously provided by Jessica McKeever and the CEO of Romo in support of the cause.
To restore the piece, Samuel & Sons supplied the double welt, and Eva’s Decorating completed the reupholstery with beautiful craftsmanship, replacing the original horsehair with fresh padding and fill. Elissa has always loved the character and workmanship found in older furniture, and this auction felt like the perfect opportunity to blend that history with a contemporary textile.
Pairing classic silhouettes with modern fabrics is one of our favorite ways to give antiques new life.
2011 RED CROSS RED + WHITE BALL
The Red + White Ball celebrates the strength and resilience of the communities served by the American Red Cross.
Inspired by the event’s powerful mission, we designed a richly layered tablescape using deep red, fuchsia, and gray tones. Decorative lanterns and crystal accents added warmth and light—a symbolic gesture honoring the Red Cross’s work during times of uncertainty.
