Now, it’s not often that we get a chance to take stock of what we’ve been doing and and where we are, life moves pretty fast around here and suddenly it’s the holidays! But every once in a while a moment hits you square in the face and reminds you how grateful you are for this wild and wonderful glamorous/not glamorous design business.
Last month was just like any other month. We had part of our team traveling from an install down south, part of our team prepping for a new client, and I was out in the Hamptons for a client meeting. The last thing I wanted to do was go into the city to attend the ASID NY Metro yearly meeting. But as every small business owner knows, “Growth is never by mere chance; it is the result of forces working together.” And I needed a little extra forces today!
There is always a special bond that takes place with our fellow designers as we celebrate our industry and applaud the transition of our ASID leadership. To cap the evening off, we were celebrating distinguished work by our friends an colleagues. To our surprise, EGID was named among this year’s winners for Design Excellence; Our fun and fab surf-inspired bunk room and our serene master bedroom. We owe a huge thanks to our entire team for the countless hours and incredible hustle as well as our wonderful clients that trust our process and give us the latitude to bring their dreams to life! So grateful!!
